Other ways to Help
You love animals but are unable to adopt a pet right now, yet you still want to make a difference in the life of a dog, cat or horse by donating; money, items or your time. That’s WONDERFUL! Below is some information that might help.
One of our biggest expenses is veterinary costs. A spay or neuter with vaccinations can be as little at $65 for a male cat and as much as $250 for a large female dog. We do these often. Sponsoring a new resident is a great way to help out. The adoption fees we charge only just cover the cost of preparing a pet for a new home. There’s little left to support the animals who don’t find new families and remain here at our sanctuary. A cat sponsorship is $100.00 and for a dog, $200.00.
We feed the animals twice a day but sometimes it seems we just finish this chore and it’s time to start all over again! It’s like Christmas when Fed-X arrives with a bad of dog food or a case of canned. A 40# bag of grain free kibble is about $35.00 and a case of 12 cans is around $18.00
Volunteers are badly needed and much appreciated. If you find you have some extra time and like to play with dogs and cats, but don’t mind some dirty work, please give us a call! (916) 207-4807
We can always use dog and cat beds, leashes, cat litter and pans; new or gently used.
Thank you for supporting Heaven Sent Rescue inc. !!
Rudy recently came in from the Stanislaus County Shelter, having been on the euthanization schedule. Unfortunately, he has a severed femur bone from his hip joint requiring surgery. (And, of course, neutering!)
He is scheduled for surgery on January 4th with an estimated cost of $1600 to $2000. Anyone wanting to donate, please click the donate button below.
Rudy will be available for adoption once he has fully healed.
